A locally written/devised piece on the topic of codeswitching: the ways in which society forces oppressed people (particularly black folks) to conform to a rigid set of behaviors in order to survive. Shakill Jamal, the author of the piece, conceptualized codeswitching as a neverending struggle, symbolized by an Ouroboros which glowed as it spoke to characters in the show.
